Lily and Lola's Thursday

The girls had a visit from Dr. Donnelly (my great OBGYN) and her nurse Dawn. Their watchful eye certainly attributed to how well are girls are doing now.
Both Lily and Lola continue to do well. Both still working on their bottle feedings, which are going better and better (thanks to help from Jodi).
Lily and Lola reunited on a boppy pillow in Mom's lap today after their 6 p.m. feeding. Lola was much more interested in Lily than previous reunions. It was great to have everybody in one place and watch their sweet little faces.
As predicted, weight gain slower: Lily just up 12 grams to 4 lbs. 6 oz. Lola actually lost 34 grams, so she is now 4 lbs. 9 oz. Everyone keeps saying to look at the overall week gain/loss vs. any individual day gain/loss. So, we will just keep rooting for overall weight gain.
Overall for the parents, we just pretty much feel like the luckiest people in the world.
Love, Mel

Ok, so that first pictures, along with the others of course, is the SWEETEST picture I've ever seen! I am so proud, and excited for you guys! You are doing a great job and those girls prove it! We all love you! Have a great day today!

Ditto the Dutys...Those pictures of the girls cuddled up with each other are fabulous, so incredibly sweet. They actually look so much bigger with a bit of fat on their arms. Keep up the good work and get those girls home. Much Love!

Lily and Lola are doing great with all the thanks to St. John NICU and Mel and Don. Mel is there so much of the time and Don as much as work will allow. The girls are thriving on their parents and good medical support. Their grandparents, cousins and all love them sooooo much. Keep a close watch, they will be going home soon.
