Superyard XT

Here is our latest baby contraption, the Superyard XT. Funny name, huh?
We needed something, as the babies are more and more mobile.
Some of you had asked me about it, so I thought I would post pictures.
Definitely would recommend getting the extension to allow for more variability in set up.
Of course, we needed the extension anyway because of the space needed for two babies.
Fairly easy to set up (once you visualize the shape you want), fairly light weight but sturdy, and one panel opens for access in and out.
Mainly I just think the name is cool.
Happy Monday,

The Party's Over and Lily's Hair

Don and Barbara ( Don's parents) had a wonderful open house today
for all of our girls. The girls had so much fun!
Lola is a bit tired...

This NEVER happens to Lola...

Seriously worn out!

Random pictures too cute not to post:

My hair is getting longer!

And so is my arm reach!

Thanks again to Don and Barbara for a great party and to everyone for their generosity!

Coloring Eggs

Ready to go!

Enjoying the coloring process

Lola had other plans...

Gracie had so much fun coloring her eggs. She looked at us like we were a bit crazy, but jumped right in.

Something's Always Going On Around Here

Can you see my FOURTH tooth coming in?

What? Can't you see I'm busy?

I am so proud of my quadruped capabilities!

Ready to go!

Side view...

Giggly Gracie

In case you hadn't heard, Lola got her fourth tooth this week. Yes, that is 4 teeth in 4 weeks and other places on her gums look swollen. It is just amazing how teeth change their faces. Lily is still all gums, but you never know....
One of Gracie's most fun things right now is going in the car for any reason. She loves it and asks about it everyday after eating breakfast. Coche today? Gracie coche? Mama coche? Lily/Lola no coche. Archie no coche. She really doesn't mind if the babies go, but loves it when it is just us. Archie is low man in our hierarchy as far as Gracie is concerned. She is always kind to him, but frequently tells him what to do.
Apparently the stars have all aligned and all girls are sleeping extra long today, allowing me to post this. This does not happen very often around here.
Quick Gracie update about language. It is literally exploding. She understands tons more these days and is imitating/repeating words much better as well. She is really loving books and that is of course helping.
Don and I really feel like she is jumping into being a part of things much more whole-heartedly than when she first came home. Runs to the garage when Don comes home, screaming "Papa" (what she calls Don). Loves to help do everything, loves to watch Dancing with the Stars or the "baila show". Claps when we have chicken and screams "POLLO!". Fun stuff.
Funniest story of the week:
Gracie goes with me every Tues. afternoon when I do grocery store/errands/bank etc. We had to use the bathroom at the bank and I used my foot to flush the toilet.
When she came home that night and used the bathroom, I caught her hiking her tiny little foot way up to our toilet to flush with her foot also.
All eyes on you, Mom. Ciudado.
Have a good day and Happy Good Friday and Passover!

Lily and Smooth Jazz

Listening to the smooth jazz channel

Man, does it relax me...

I love jazz

I usually put on the smooth jazz channel when I feed them to keep me calm because it gets crazy real quick.
Apparently, it mellowed Lily out too.
Have a good day!

Welcome Home Party for Gracie

Our arrival

I think I might like this...

Oh yea...

Help from cousin Caden

New and old friends

Everybody play!
After a crazy busy weekend, I wanted to make sure I posted these pictures of Gracie's welcome home party hosted by my sister Sarah and my cousin Alyson. Gracie had a great time and got a chance to play with kids, NOT BABIES. Imagine! She also had her first play date this weekend with new friends Pacey, Medina and Ruby. We are excited to be out and about and making new friends!
Have a good day!
